Poetic Scenes
Featured collection
Following a brief Overture, this collection will take you on a Poetic Scene journey about life, through three perspectives:•Living our Lives (together)•Looking Within (ourselves)•Revering Our Earth (the earth, we share)The journey is intended to be deliberate, thoughtful and enjoyable.
Peaceful Poetic Scenes
Like all Poetic Scenes collections, this one is intended to provide some respite from a world filled with constant distractions. Peaceful Poetic Scenes is for those times when you simply want to kick back and relax. So take the journey… and enjoy the calm.
Whimsically “Poetic” Scenes
As the title implies, these are intended to be light, playful and occasionally humorous. While they are consistent with the concept and construction of Poetic Scenes, the word “Poetic” is used facetiously. I hope enjoy them, and at least a few tickle your funny bone.
Photo-Enhanced Poems & Epigrams
This collection emphasizes poems, with the photo amplifying or broadening an idea or feeling in the words. This emphasis offers a brief holiday from the use of emojis as a convenient substitute for words — an opportunity for reflection… and occasional chuckle.
Last Writes
This collection offers: recollections of a warm childhood pastime; feelings facing grief following a loss; a tribute to a wounded veteran and to the triumph of personal growth; and a short story that begins whimsically and ends with a twist.
